(this is going to be good and long, uh-oh)
~Edhelnis is a crazy awesome lady from good ol' school/sixth form whose drawings are just gorgeous. Also she is the Best Ginger Ever.

~AutomaticIndigo has been one of my best friends since Year 4 (though I've known her a lot longer). She's been an extremely talented poet and writer the whole time.

The mystery of the 'waiting room' Placid round vessel
awaits
something
while the station is sizzling with stressed
anticipation and the hurriers' haste
is stretched on their faces. They charge past the waiting room
brainlessly counting their paces, and the
pallid saucer on the sill
reflects
nothing.
Ticking by in the mirror the clock is a riddle
though the uniformed man's still tapping his fingers
precisely in time, ignoring a dog's irregular fidgety twitching,
its hopeful whine at the
objectless,
unused ornament.
Newspapers clamour from the heap in the corner,
flogging all-important dramas. A gust
rustles crisp wrappers, tugs at mess and loose ends
shiver

~mychemforever Another great friend from school! She has lately been doing a lot of lovely photography and MLP:FIM artwork. She draws the cutest animals!

~beaniejuice, I have been great friends with since Year 9. We've mostly worked in theatre stuff together but she's also a great painter, textile artist and photographer!

~CampervanLover is the most Bristolian Person I Know (also since Y9). She's been doing some lovely graphic design and typography lately.

~StopEject. Fellow Japanese Class Not-listen-er, Awesome-things-finder and Music Aficionado. He makes game things and GIFS, and occasionally comics.
~Ruthless-Colour is my partner in proclaiming ~Edhelnis the Best Ginger Ever. She makes great films, is a great actress and has been lately working on digital art too.
(hilarious short film: [link])~foolkaza is my desk-buddy at college right now! She is pretty darn funny, and makes the coolest papercraft architecture and does awesome pencil/graphite drawings.

~smithjoej. A really cool dude who has great parties and a crazy dog. He studies forensics but is also a hobbyist photographer.

~ShiningLies writes peculiar things and takes fun photos of other things. Her ideas are the most hilarious and strange.

Cheese Grater I stare intently at the cheese grater, watching as it cuts the cheese into smooth primrose slices. I watch as the pile inside the grater grows at a surprising rate, each slither falling atop the last with a soundless thump. My gaze fixes on a certain blade, staring dumbly as the cheese is continuously sliced by the sheer force of my hand pressing the helpless block to the serrated edge of the grater. I suddenly feel a sharp pain in my forefinger, causing my eyes to snap to the location of my injured limb. I realise that the block of cheese that once weighed my hand down, is now the size of a penny, Blood pools around the shallow c

At the risk of making this the longest journal ever, here are a few other people I know who make great art:
*Madz67 and *Beehive67 are sisters who are pretty active within the chibi community. They must be the most friendly and generous deviants I've ever seen, and have lovely individual ways of drawing.
~cardboard-everywhere is a fellow Textiles and Graphics school person who did an amazing project with cardboard, which you can see here: [link]
~missmiserymay draws lovely things at college and refuses to upload them >:I. She also makes fantastic cake.
~thepringlelady, ~tonedeafmusician, ~katiwooz, *Viola-lCiel, ~XRallenX, ~Yakow, and ~samiibunii are all people I know from school, who are in various states of activeness on dA but are all cool.
I have almost certainly forgotten some, but the goal of this is really to try and spread the work of some of the people I've been surrounded by for so long. I think it's pretty interesting how we've all influenced each other in various ways. If you read this, I hope you see something you like!
